Direct impingement and flotation web dryers. All of our dryers are custom designed to your specific products. Our dryers are carefully designed to insure uniform drying across the profile of the web. Typical variations in our dryers for velocity are below ± 2% and temperature are under ± 1°F.
Manufactures three styles of oxidizers: regenerative oxidizers, recuperative thermal oxidizers, and recuperative catalytic oxidizers, along with simple afterburners for VOC abatement.
Consultation of your drying and oxidization needs. Improve their processes, or modify them to run a new product.
Designs, fabricates and installs replacement heat exchangers for thermal and catalytic oxidizers. Special construction for high temperature applications using Type 310 stainless steel is available. We also supply self-cleaning heat exchangers for silica dust applications.
For regenerative thermal oxidizers we specialize in replacing high pressure drop, high maintenance, saddle media with structured media designed to decrease your pressure drop, increase your flow and reduce your operating costs.
Design, fabricate and install baghouses for dust collection. Our baghouses utilize pulse cleaning to keep the bags clean. High temperature baghouses are available.
Gas train components, control panels for dryer and oxidizer equipment are also available.
RTOs to match your process requirements. From two bed, to the three bed design, up to multiple beds and continuous rotating flow divertor avoiding multiple dampers or indexed rotating dampers.
The flow divertor is self-cleaning and allows use of multiple beds that change flow direction more often. High heat exchanger efficiencies with less heat exchange media and lower capital costs.
Recuperative thermal oxidizers. Stainless steel tube and shell heat exchangers. Ceramic block or hardboard interior insulation mounted to a plate steel exterior skin. Fully welded exterior skin with no possibility of leakage. Elimination of hot spots on the exterior skin by the use of superior construction techniques. Fully piped and wired gas trains. Multi-pass primary heat exchangers for higher heat exchanger efficiency. Multi-pass secondary heat exchangers where indirect feedback of heat to the process is desired. Direct feedback systems where direct feedback of heated air to the process is desired. Hot and cold side heat exchanger bypasses. Self cleaning tube bundles where silicone release coatings create a high load of dust.
Thermal afterburners. To destroy VOCs in high concentrations, eliminate visible smoke, destroy VOCs from processes that are operated intermittently.
Raw gas burners mounted in the air stream for complete flame contact with the process stream.
Impingement dryers to the full range of paper, film, foil and textile web converting industries. Press dryers, adhesive coating dryers, shoe box nozzles fed by central headers provide uniform heating preventing excessive drying of the web edges.
Idler roll bearings mounting on structural steel outside the dryer with all rolls removable through the side of the dryer box. Variable speed drives with the recirculating fans. Premium quality burners, controls and gas train components. Where gas burners are required we use Maxon Corporation burners and Honeywell burner controls and gas train components. Proven shoe box colanda nozzles fed by central headers provide uniform heating and allow the exhaust to be removed from the web between the nozzles preventing excessive drying of the web edges.
